Jeff Button is Canadian DJ and producer.
He started his career in the club scene back in 2004 as promoter in Toronto.
Few years later he decided to change his role to DJing.
Within a few months he was asked to play the Sonic Nightclub closing party, which landed him coveted residencies at The Docks and Mod Club.
In 2007, Jeff found himself a new home in Footwork Nightclub.
A world class after-hours establishment, that was ranked #36 in DJ Mag Top 100 Clubs poll.
Playing alongside the best DJ’s in the world, Jeff began to discover his own sound while laying down some of the most memorable opening sets in the city.
Around the same time, he started his company DigDeep, best known for the eclectic Podcast on iTunes that features the best in house music both locally and internationally.
In 2011, Jeff was brought on board as partner and resident DJ for The Modern Love Affair, a series of parties that boasted some of the freshest talent in the world including Art Department, Lee Foss & Wolf + Lamb.
The following year, Jeff played The BPM Festival with Mexican favorites, The Climbers.
He also took his passion to the studio this year, with an extensive course at UK’s Music Production school Point Blank, and began writing music of his own.
2012 brought more of the same action as the previous year.
Starting off with The BPM Festival w/ The Modern Love Affair alongside Jamie Jones, Soul Clap & Miguel Campbell.
He also debuted his first EP “Love Is True” with fellow Toronto artist Sean Roman, which reached #42 on the Deep House releases on Beatport.
The following year, Jeff was brought on as a resident to the biggest music series in Toronto – Electric Island, and played alongside Audiofly, Guy Gerber, and the legendary Sasha.
The future looks bright for this Toronto artist, with new studio efforts on the way, and his collaboration with Footwork, Platform, Embrace & Sound Mind means that Jeff will continue to dominate the dance floors with the sound he has crafted over the past 7 years.
